Sin

Meeps consistantly reminds me about the purpose of life as she sits staring out the window or scratching at the door with her ready-made weapons that she, as a cat, has earned her right to have. If she was enacting her purpose, she wouldn’t be here trapped inside.

Petsie comes around often looking for her. I see her fresh tracks everyday. She is a symbol of how Meeps desires to be. And how I (deep down) desire she be. Free.

Free to do the things that nature has made her to do. And yes, free to be hit by a car. As long as it is free.

Keeping her locked in is my problem. Not hers.

Deep down I know that she will be fine, because she desires to live, MORE than I desire her to live. That is nature. My desire to keep her in is my fear, not hers. My fear is holding her back from doing the dance called Cat, the enacting of her purpose.
